Isla J farms was a very enjoyable experience from beginning to end.
The up close encounters we had with all the exotic animals will be a memory of a life time.
Porcupines, servals, emus, coatis, lemurs, rare tropical birds.
Also everywhere we walked we had a group of ducks, turkeys and chickens that followed us which was pretty cool all friendly looking for pets.
Take your friends and family here you won’t regret it.

What a treat. We had a beautiful experience with the wonderful owners of this rescue. The animals are loved and well cared for. They are doing such an amazing job caring for all of Gods creatures!

We had the privilege of doing an evening tour last night, and we really didn’t know what to expect. I can honestly say it surpassed all of our expectations!

The owners were incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Vashti took her time at each animal enclosure, sharing interesting facts, answering all of the kids’ questions, and giving them the opportunity to interact with, touch, and feed the animals. It was such a hands-on experience, and we truly had a wonderful and memorable time!

But my favorite part of their story? Most of the animals are rescues. 🥹❤️ That makes my heart so happy. There is something so special about seeing animals who needed a second chance being rescued, loved, cared for, and given the opportunity to live a wonderful life.

We had such a great time at Isla J! Our tour was fun and really informative- the kids learned so much about the animals' care and their backstories, and even got to feed some of them. The animals are clearly loved, happy, and well cared for. It makes my heart so happy that there are people like Vashti and her family, who pour so much time and effort into giving these animals a safe and loving place to live. We absolutely adored meeting all the animals, especially Happy the wallaby, Penelope the skunk, and a baby coati! The owners sound like they have a lot of cool things planned for the property for the future too. We will definitely be back!

Took our 10 year old grandson today. It was beyond our expectations. The animals were all amazing and well cared for. Loved her knowledge of the animals, and that they have rescued so many.

We had a wonderful experience at Isla j farms. Loved that it was private and my kids got to feed several animals. We learned so many new things about some of the animals. It didn’t feel rushed at all and we loved hearing the stories behind the animals as they are all essentially rescue animals. It was worth the drive (we came from Richmond him ga) and highly recommend!

Visited the farm with my kids/grandkids on 20 July, 2026. Had such a good time we nearly forgot the blistering heat! Isla J. Farm combines two of my favorite things; animal rescue and veterans, Run by a former Army Ranger and his lovely wife, this family rescue farm cares for a multitude of exotic animals and birds. The small private group visits allow for a truly immersive and personalized visit that was enjoyed by all ages, 8 to 68! We not only got to hold some of the cutest animals on the planet, but were able to learn about them and their rehabilitation. The variety of the animals is expansive. This big hearted, HARD working family are passionate about their mission to help animals and eager to share their knowledge and love for the animals in their care. A great day activity for the whole family. We plan to return in the Fall when it's not so hot.

We took our grandchild Julie for a tour. We all loved the educated tour and all of the beautiful and fun animals. We loved meeting Isla and her family. You know they all love what they do and we are grateful that there are animal rescues and rehabs like Isla Farms. You won't be disappointed and it is so worth the money to help them out. Took the grandkids and had a great experience. You can see the passion and love that the owners have for their rescued wildlife family. Educational and fun for the kids and adults. We all loved it. Highly recommend.
